Following a deep desire to connect with her community, but try on different hats in the process, Cait’s circuitous career path has come full circle to ILFI. After a few years of editorial work at various book publishers, she switched gears and dived into green building as the Development and Communications Coordinator for Urban Green Council (USGBC New York). The Pacific NW and the countryside lured her away from urban life on the east coast, and she spent over a year working full tilt on organic farms in the Puget Sound of Washington. Having happily landed in Portland, Cait wiles away her spare hours in the dirt, on a bike, or with a banjo.
