Janus Welton is a registered Architect in New York & California, LEED Project Manager, and Sustainable Building Consultant combining Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, Building Biology, and Biomimicry in Architecture, Interior Design, and Planning. She holds a Master of Architecture degree (M. Arch) from the University of Colorado Denver, CO. In 2012 her team placed 3rd in the International Living Building Challenge Aleutian Island Competition and recently primary recognition in the NY Cragsmoor Association Design Competition with affordable small homes incorporating Living Building Challenge principles. She lectures widely on Sustainability, Biomimicry and Resiliency and directs the Sustainable Building Advisor Program in NYC.
