Biophilia and Biomimicry as Pathways to Net Positive

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session will explore the relationships between people and nature through a discussion of Biophilia and Biomimicry in the built environment. What are their crossovers as pathways to increase the human | nature connection? How does one use nature’s principles as a model of inspiration and efficiency for resilient design strategies? We will hear from a Bay Area commercial project that is using Biophila and connectivity to nature as a key objective. We will analyze how those connections lead to Net Positive solutions through various case studies that demonstrate applied examples of nature’s principles translated into design solutions.
